[Sirius Black]

Sirius entered the Great Hall, rather out of breath. The moment he entered, however, he walked casually and purposefully towards the Gryffindor table and then sat down. He quickly filled his plate with food and looked around almost suspiciously. The Hall was fairly empty as most people hadn't arrived yet. He wished they would.

It seemed that the entire state of Hogwarts was rather boring. everyone was either still asleep for it was a weekend or they were either too lazy to do anything. It annoyed her. When she entered the Great Hall, her eyes met the back of the head of someone who would entertain her as such. moving her way other towards the table she sat next to him but with a little space in between. She only kind of knew him, knew him in the ways of pranks which she enjoyed hearing about. "Jesus, you know everyone else in the school also has to eat right?" she playfully joked as her eyes caught his plate.

Sirius had just begun to dig into his food when a shape came and sat next to him. For some reason, this caught him off-guard, even more so when his new companion had long hair. It wasn't what he was expecting. Usually the ones who sat next to him were male. Well, at least males without long hair. At least she didn't seem angry with him for some reason. Girls usually seemed to be angry with him.

"Not as much as I have to eat," he replied unattractively with a full mouth. He swallowed his mouth's contents and eyed her suspiciously. "Are you waiting for someone or something?" If he realized how he was sounding, he probably wouldn't have said anything, but he was actually asking out of curiousity.

Atalie looked from his plate to his mouth as she spat food while he talked. she wiped away what may have been food that he accidentally spat on her face before she laughed lightly. "No one in particular. Everyone today seems too busy to find something to do with me. I thought " she paused as she waved in acknowledgement to some of her female friends. "I thought maybe you could fix that." she swung around in her seat to face the table and started placing food on her place. almost as much as Sirius had on his. "What do ya say" she awkwardly grinned at him. "also, my name is Atalie. just encase you didn't know..." a nervous laugh escaped her lips.

Sirius didn't seem to notice that he had spat on her face, as he was a little too focused on getting back to his food. He wiped his mouth after a while when he was aware that she was actually asking something of him. He pushed his food away in what he assumed was a polite manner. Besides, her offer did seem intriguing.

"I know who you are," he said, simply. "We're in the same year."

He didn't know why so many girls introduced themselves, particularly ones in his year and his House, and ones that weren't particularly shy. Sirius did have the habit of not paying much attention to well, anyone but him and his friends, but he did pick up the names of those closest around him. If he could memorize Snivellus' name, he was sure he could remember a couple of pretty girls' as well.

"What'd you have in mind?" he asked her. He grinned encouragingly, almost as if he were testing her.

Atalie sunk her fork in to some pasta salad she had collected on her plate. "we are in the same year that is very correct." she nodded honestly she hadn't known why she introduced herself when she sat down. she laughed awkwardly softly to herself.

She didn't actually know what to do. it was about supper time and what normally happened at this time? people have supper. Atalie took a fork full of pasta and shoved it in her mouth. chewing on it for a moment before swallowing. The amount of food she gave her was larger then she expected. when she attempted to swallow it got caught in her throat causing her to start choking.

Her hands threw up to her neck as she tried to gasp for air. her hand moved to her chest as she started pounding on it. soon enough dislodging the large ball of pasta in her throat. She then gasped for air as it stopped in her stomach. "Jesus" she took a moment and relaxed. it wasn't everyday you nearly die.

"I thought I saw Snape around the lake."

Sirius saw the look of contemplation on the pretty face of the girl who had randomly decided to join him, after years of not so much of a, 'hey, can I borrow a quill?' Not that he was complaining. Not in the least. The hall was growing busier, but no sign of his marauding friends. As he was glancing around, he heard Atalie begin to choke. The pretty face had suddenly transformed into a panicked one, but she recovered on her own, which was lucky because all Sirius could have thought to do was accio the pasta out of her throat, but that would have been disgusting to say the least, and he was wearing one of his favourite shirts.

Sirius raised an eyebrow at her. "Snivellus, you say? I thought I noticed a particularly foul odour missing from the hall." He stood up and offered her his arm in a very chivalrous fashion, even if it was rather silly. He didn't even think to ask why Atalie wanted to bother Snape, but he wasn't about to pass up the opportunity, especially when he was bored. "My lady?"

Atalie moved the hair out of her face and laughed lightly. "Yes, there is a foul order missing. maybe even a few." laughing more at the thought. she watched him stand and offer his arm and she jumped up and took it. "why yes good sir".

She started leading him out the great hall and towards the lake. walking threw a few corridors and eventually making it to seeing distance to the lake. "To you see that? I think that's him" she whispered and pointed out towards the lake. there was a figure out in the distance it was hard to tell if it was a man or female. but they seemed to be pacing? why was she getting a weird feeling in her stomach...

Sirius smiled at her smoothly as she accepted his arm. He marched her dramatically from the room, with the occasional solemn nod to someone that he recognized. Eventually they were outdoors, and Sirius initially had to squint due to the September sun glaring down on them. It wasn't quite cool yet. He struggled to see the person down at the lake. He refused to believe Remus' claims that he needed glasses.

"Seems like him, pacing around as if a thought might actually occur to him someday," Sirius said at the tiny black dot by the water. The glimmer of the lake certainly did not help his poor vision. "Let's investigate."

Sirius casually grabbed his wand and let it dance across his fingers across his face before separating himself from Atalie so that he could use his dominant hand. He pointed it to the blob, but he wasn't close enough to be confident. He pulled Atalie over instead to a couple trees that were closer in order to not be spotted. He didn't want to have to admit the weakness of his sight, nor did he want to miss Severus. Besides, it would be funnier to attack where they couldn't be seen, as to better confuse him.

Atalie laughed lightly at his joke. It was true, snape wasn't terribly smart or well at least he's never shown it. Atalie took her wand out as well, holding it in her mouth as she unbuttoned her carnigane a little. it was a little warmer than she expected it to be.

She yelped lighting as Sirius pulled her over to some trees, to stay hidden. As she grew closer, the feeling in her stomach got stronger. this wasn't a bad idea... or was it?

"Yup, that's him" she whispered in his ear. her eyes stuck to Sirius for a moment before she looked back at snape. He had stopped pacing and now looked like he was reciting something. like a speech. of some sort.

Sirius disregarded her yelp rather rudely, but he was hardly paying attention. He never really responded to those things; if she was truly injured she'd do a lot more than yelp. He was probably used to yelping noises considering his midnight adventures with his friends, and the fact that he became, well, a dog.

Before Sirius could even turn to Atalie to respond to her, his whole body suddenly froze up, and he fell over motionless, the only thing being able to move was his eyes, which he used to look at the now-approaching Snape. Apparently they hadn't been as stealthy as they had thought, and Snape was already raising his arm at Atalie.

her eyes glided from Sirius who had just fallen over to Snape she was pointing his wand at her. she stood up and raised her hands, her wand in her hands "alright, you caught us. we were snogging. didn't even realize you were here. " she sounded like she was giving up. more like she didn't care really. Snape's face turned to annoyed to disgust and lowered his wand lightly. due to the fact Atalie was close friends with Lily

Atalie took her chance and Judo Kicked Snape in the junk. defeating him, muggle-style. Many things would have been unable to phase him. Snape was a good duelist, she would give him that. but one thing he would never expect was a kick to the nuts. she turned to Sirius and uncharmed him. "This is how we do it." she sang.

If Sirius could have laughed at that moment, he would have, but being under a full body bind made it a little difficult to do such. He would have laughed even harder at Atalie kicking Snape in the mangina. He was grateful for being let loose, although slightly embarrassed.

"That's how a girl defends me when a squid attacks me," he said as he picked up his wand and put it away. "If anyone asks, it was the other way around, and I did something less pathetic than kicking Snape in the family jewels."

Regardless, he couldn't help but be kind of impressed. Most girls probably would have frozen up. He glanced over at Snape, who was limping away and cursing rather loudly under his breath. "Well, we may as well do what you said we were doing in the first place," he joked, not at all meaning his words. He ran a hand through his hair. "Any other talents you'd care to show me, other than sacking little boys?"

Atalie laughed fullheartedly when Sirius want to make it seem like she was the damsel in distress and not him. which was fine but she will always know it was she that saved him! "you're just upset because I did it my way and not yours. but alright, if anyone asks, I'll be the damsel that was in distress and you saved me and I rewarded you graciously. " she winked playfully. her eyes glided over to snape's back as she watched him hobble away. "I could have done something more magic related. but I felt that kicking him was a more suitable choice."

she smirked lightly and laughed. "other talents? well... I am a fabulous swimmer." she nodded "what about you? any hidden talents?" she raised and eyebrow before handing a hand out to him to help him up.

"Excellent," Sirius said, adjusting his shirt in a macho-fashion. He looked around as if searching for witnesses. "Don't all princes in those stories get rewarded? But then again, isn't that a bit like prostitution? 'Oh hey, I'll save your life, now save my sex drive.'" Sirius reached over and took one of Atalie's curls in his hands and twisted it around his finger. "Let's be honest, though, would anyone really believe you were the hero of the story?"

It sounded really condescending, and it sort of was, even if Sirius didn't see it that way. He released her hair, and it bounced back to fit back with the other curls. "It was the quicker choice."

Sirius grinned at her and gave her a low-five because he was already standing in Annelise's mind. "Well, I have anti-talents. I'm a horrible flier, not too great at swimming, can't pay attention to anything if my life depended on it, and am a light weight with alcohol." He could have told her he was a great dueller, but it clearly didn't seem so considering what had just happened. He nodded to the tree overhanging the lake. "I'm a fantastic climber. I suppose that has to count for something."
