Character's Name: Remus Lupin
History: Remus John Lupin was born to Mr. and Mrs. Lupin. He is a half-blood wizard, affected by Lycanthropy when he was bitten by Fenrir Greyback who had been offended by his father. Just like all other child wizards, he received a letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he was sorted into the Gryffindor House.
Roleplaying example: The weather was still hanging onto the last vestiges of warmth as long as it could, despite it being well into the middle of September. Rain still persisted though, covering the grounds and soaking the courtyard and any unfortunate students who had to pass through, until the very last class had been dismissed.
It wasn't until the sun had been given a chance to partially dry up the outside that Remus dared to venture into the courtyard. He wasn't too keen on getting either his robes or books wet, but James and Sirius had insisted. Heavily insisted. As in, threatened to make his job as Prefect even harder than it was, insisted. Not that he wasn't already having trouble exercising discipline over them or anything. No, not at all.
So it was for that reason that Remus joined his three friends outside, sitting down under one of the trees and sighing as he felt his robes getting wet. He pulled out a book, flipping to the last page he'd been on, and settled in for a good, if frequently interrupted, read.
He watched the group over the pages of his book as he read. Lily had gotten there at some point, no doubt grabbed and pulled over by James so he could chat her up. The first real interruption came from Peter, who called for his attention and help on his charms assignment. Remus took the parchment, scanning it quickly. "The first one's right, though I think Professor Flitwick wants it to be in essay form. The last one is.... completely wrong Peter. It's Aguamenti, not Aquacendi. That last one's not even a spell."
He handed the parchment back just in time to catch James' attention get pulled away from Lily as Severus approached their group. This was never good. "Don't do it, James, Sirius," he warned, but he knew it was just falling on deaf ears. Remus sighed, returning to his book as he tried to ignore what the two were doing to the Slytherin this time.
