Character's Name: Eavan Marie Tringham
Character's Year: 6th

History: Eavan was born December 12th, 1960 to her muggle-mother Diana and her pureblood father Edward Tringham, much to the chagrin of the majority of the Tringham family.
Edward’s marriage to Diana was severely looked down upon within his family; she was a muggle, he was from a prominent pureblood family. You can see where this is going. After leaving Hogwarts Edward was disowned by his family for falling in love with a muggle, thus tarnishing the good name of Tringham. The only ones that truly accepted his relationship was his twin brother, Roy, and his fiancée, Melanie, who had just given birth to their son Elliott.
Eavan grew up in South Carolina in the United States with her parents, her aunt and uncle lived just a few houses down the street from her where she’d spend most of her days at, playing with her cousin Elliott. Edward had given up the life of a wizard to help out his wife at her grooming parlor (she’s an animal fanatic) where during the summer Eavan and Elliott would help out aswell.
As the years progressed it became apparent that the other side of the family (Edward’s mother and father; Markus and Dorina) were trying to slowly take away Eavan and convert her to their idealism. Despite the fact that she was a halfblood (and damn proud of it too!) they took pity on her and wanted to give her and Elliott the good things in life, the things that their parents had given up.
It was the summer after her 11th birthday when she received her letter to Hogwarts, shocking her parents due to the fact that they lived in the United States and they had been sure that she’d be going to Salem Academy. Never the less, Eavan was flown to England and attended Hogwarts her first year and it was the greatest year of her life. Hogwarts was like a second home to her and the friendships she established there she knew would last forever, as corny as it sounded.
Roleplaying example: It was just one of those nights where Ave felt like she needed to get away from the confined space of the common room and the chilled halls of the castle and just roam the night sky on her trusty broom. Flying always helped to ease her troubled mind and lately it seemed her thoughts were more and more jumbled than ever before. It was well past curfew but that had never stopped her before, Ave had a knack for breaking the rules, or at least bending them just a tad. Running a hand through her curly blonde mop she decided that if she was to go for a nice fly around the grounds then she better do something about her hair—she absolutely hated when it obscured her vision when she was trying to concentrate on navigating the skies. Putting it up into a messy bun, leaving her bangs to fall across her forehead, Eavan decided to finally leave the stuffy dormitory and shuffled down the steps to the common room where only a few house mates remained, casually chatting amongst themselves and hardly paying any attention to what the sneaky blond was up to.
Part of her was put off by the lack of attention she was receiving, due to the fact that she thrived attention, but another part of her—the more reasonable part that actuallywantedneeded to get out and go for a fly was incredibly grateful that her housemates hadn’t noticed her presence because it made slipping out of the common room all the more easier.
“Too easy.” She remarked to herself as she stepped into the dimly lit castle halls and began to make her way towards one of the secret passageways that she’d found back in her 3rd year while running from a very determined Peeves.
It wasn’t long before she was treading across the courtyard and making her way down toward the Quidditch Pitch where her broom was kept under lock and key along with all the other Players’ brooms. “Alohamora.” She whispered, watching as the magic lock reacted to the spell and shot open, giving her access to the broom cupboard where the object of her desire had been stashed since the previous night.
“’ello my old friend.” She grinned, biting her lip as she gently ran her hand along the polished, but clearly worn and used, surface of the broom, ghosting her fingers over all the familiar nicks and blemishes that the broom had endured over the past year or two that she’d been using it. Technically it was still a new model but with how much she used it it hardly looked brand new anymore, Ave liked to think that she was definitely getting her moneys worth.
Without waiting any further she mounting the broom and kicked off the ground, soaring higher and higher amongst the stars and far above the castle grounds.
