MARY MACDONALD. 16. GRYFFINDOR. MUGGLEBORN
here we have miss mary ava macdonald, though most people tend to call her mary, or shorty. yes, shorty. her mother made the mistake of calling her that in public and now it has stuck. mary is a griffindor girl, currently in her sixth year, and on her fith year, this lovely girl here was attacked by mulciber for being a muggleborn, and she hasn't been the same since then. she became more closed off, and well... paranoid. she's no longer the warm and bubbly girl she once was, but she's trying to make it look like things haven't changed at all.
friends . mary was a friendly girl. she shut down a bit after the attack, and nowadays it's hard for her to fully trust someone, but to those she's close to, she can be quite nice and even funny. she treasures her friends and she can be loyal to a fault. she is, however, a bit too blunt and sarcastic for her own good, so all friends must know how to deal with that. shorty makes up for a great friend though, so i figure she'd have quite a few of these, especially from before the attack. new friendships will be a hard task for her, since she isn't too sure whom she should trust.
enemies . being a muggleborn, mary is likely to have gained some enemies. again, she tends to be really blunt and sarcastic, painfully honest even, so that can earn her some dislikes as well. generally speaking though, i don't see her having much of these. especially not now, since she's keeping mostly to herself and staying away from all sorts of conflict.
lovers . she's a paranoid girl with problems trusting people, how do you think her love life is? yup, nonexistent. she had a boyfriend before, but they broke up along the lines, and she's not exactly looking as right now she thinks there's more things to worry about than having a functional love life. however, she is a romantic girl, and used to be quite in love with the idea of love. but right now, i'm not sure of what could happen.
and i suck at these, feel free to toss your ideas at me

Emily & Mary Being a muggleborn, Mary would have a hard time fitting into Emily's books, and being shut down and quiet would make it worse. I'm going to say that maybe Emily even doesn't believe that Mary was attacked by Muliber, and perhaps she even claims this quite loudly when Mary is around (says Mary made up the story for attention). I don't think they'd be to the status of "enemies" because Emily doesn't think about Mary enough to be such. Like, she makes fun of Mary, but Mary isn't her only target. You know what I mean? And I can't imagine Mary likes Emily much, either.
Sirius & Mary Ah she's so pretty. Sirius probably notices that, too, and he probably tries to get her to stop being so shy by making flirtatious comments at her in order to make her blush the colour of her hair. These two I think would be friends, he'd just bother her all the time... he's a little hard to ignore. Since they're in the same year, it's not like they wouldn't know each other. Sirius can tell that she's closed off and maybe insecure, so when people like Emily bully her, I think Sirius would be quick to the rescue. I think he'd be a bit like her guard, because he hates when people are brought down by things that they can't control. They've probably been friends since first or second year, so the attack would have happened after they were already friends, so maybe Mary feels a little comfortable around him. I can imagine him not calling Mary "Shorty", but rather other obnoxious nicknames like "Marianne" or other versions of Mary.
WOahhhh hold up. I think these two would get along very well. I can see them hanging out, Atalie trying to figure out why Mary seems a little reserved lately all that fun jazz.
Monika & Mary
Monika would probably go out of her way to make Mary's life terrible. mainly due to the fact her cousin Atalie enjoys her company. Also for the fact that Monika is just a terrible person on the inside. perhaps, for a while she would seem nice and friendly to Mary but her wickedness would show it's self eventually.

MARY && EMILY well, that's brilliant. well, actually it's terrible, but i love it xD because it's really something that can happen, since mary didn't talk much about it, and i figure mulciber would only brag about it to the right people, so it would all be based on rumors. i can see mary probably just fighting a great urge to hex the hell out of emily and just ending up avoiding her like her life depended on it. because yeah, it was bad enough that it happened once, last thing she needs is to have someone telling her she's just looking for attention. i figure that sooner or later she'll snap and just give emily a piece of her mind, but for most part, she'll take it all silently, cause that's how she tends to do stuff nowadays.
MARY && SIRIUS aw, that's so nice. and definitely awkward too xD cause mary wouldn't know how to react properly to any of that. i mean, she likes it when people help her, but she doesn't like to admit it since she doesn't really want to appear that weak xD but she'd be thankful anyway. and as to the making her blush part... yeah, he'd be quite successful at that :3
MARY && ATALIE sounds great! atalie sounds lovely and they're in the same house so i see no reason for them not to get along
MARY && MONIKA oooh, that'd be cool. since she's atalie's cousin mary would probably assume she wasn't that bad either, so she'd agree to trust her or something. but of course then it would turn out monika wasn't such a nice person at all and mary would be probably devastated.

Elise & Mary I think Elise would be incredibly understanding of closing off after something like that, though she wouldn't be one to do so. I could also see her biting Mulciber's head off for it for Mary if she explained to her what happened xD. but that's your call. <3 Regardless, Elise would probably adore the younger girl and just assume that she was quiet.

MARY && ELISE well, in mary's defence she isn't particularly proud of the way she's handling things, but she sorta can't help herself xD it's stronger than her, really. and that'd be nice of elise, i mean, just assuming mary was quiet (and the part about getting angry about the attack too) cause mary would feel better to not have someone just constantly asking her how she's feeling and whatnot. so yeah, friends. and sorry for my failure of an answer
