so this is marlene.  or marles, marzipan, marley, marlathan, anything except marlene, because she is in fact, not a sixty year old woman.  anyways, marles here is sort of an eccentric girl to say the least.  she's wild, impulsive, overbearing, overzealous, and possibly the most intense and intimidating person that you will ever meet.  she's from a very ancient house of brilliant wizards, and although she is quick-witted, unfortunately more often than not, things are quite literally just exploding in her face in the classroom. she's a short-tempered spitfire that's on the quidditch team as a beater because her head of house told her to find an, 'anger outlet,' besides hexing students [and sometimes herself] into oblivion.    she collects hufflepuffs, don't ask why.  she probably smokes too much gillyweed to succeed in her classes, but oh well - that's marles.  and yet she's still very high-strung.  one time she asked me how to spell 'cauldron.'  she's just a really loud, boisterous, sarcastic, excitable girl.  sort of obnoxious.  but yeah.  that's marzipan.


friends -  marles is pretty friendly, although to be honest, most are either put-off or intimidated by her straight-forward, forthcoming personality.  you have to be able to tolerate a lot in order to be her friend, i.e. - making sure she doesn't drown in the lake drunkenly, holding her back in fights over very small things, keeping her homework organized, you know.  just covering up for her crazy ass.  other than that, she is fiercely loyal and warm to those she holds close.  

enemies -  yes please! with that big trap of hers, she's constantly offending people with her lack of filter. she's extremely opinionated and basically thinks that she's the smartest person to grace the planet, so people are bound to dislike her, obviously.  marles believes that she's tough and everything, but really that's only the case when she has a bat in her hand.  other than that, she's more likely to hex herself then harm someone else with a wand.  

love - nothing planned here! i don't really do ~finals~ because of character chemistry, but i'm a friendly plotter! she's well aware of her sex appeal and uses it to her advantage. she loses interest easily and enjoys playing with her prey more than anything. she'll say things just to make boys blush, i don't know.  she's a bit of a sadist. she doesn't pop her cork for every man she sees though. she's not one for relationships and yet she's possessive and jealous over most men she's ever ~touched. she's crazy. maybe someone who ~broke her heart~ and turned her crazy or something cheesy like that. maybe someone who just tolerates her intoxicated insanity? idunno. i fail at these, but get at her. c;

Elise & Marles
A puff for you! xD Ellie can handle just about anything that's thrown at her unless the person is a bully, and she'll still love them. The girl had more love than most people know what to do with and it can be a bit off putting. But she would be able to handle Marles without much of a bat of an eyelash. And I think she would enjoy the fact that it pushed her to get out of her comfort zone a bit.

Peter & Marlene
Peter is same year and house as her, but I think her boisterous nature would scare the hell out of him. He would just hide behind his friends and smile at her most likely, like he thought she was cool. But if it was ever one on one between the two of them, I think he'd be terrified lmao.


Nicky and Marley
Nicky is probably going to be the only person who purposefully calls her Marlene to piss her off. And then he'll just hug her afterwards. xD They're going to be a force to be reckoned with when they hang out, I imagine. Neither of them really knows how to be calm, unless he's doing homework. But I think Nicky would even put homework aside for a while to hang out with her if she wanted it. He's probably butter in her hands honestly xD but determined to be nothing more than friends because he doesn't want to wreck the dynamic they have. plus they'd probably try to kill one another in a relationship

gah, marles would totally add elise into her collection. she's so sweet and delicate, and really just a lady and everything that marles should be that she's not. she would totally encourage her to break out of her shell and things. and by that, i mean shoving firewhiskey down her throat, but yeah. i think they would equal each other out quite well! friends definitely! c:

peter + marles

urgh. poor peteyboo. marles is so obnoxious, she'll probably just wave and yell his name and just be like, 'hi,' to make him blush or whatever. she's a terrible person and he's vulnerable. so she'll probably just smell/sense the fear on hima nd take advantage of that for her entertainment.

nicky & marles

omg. they're so similar, except for the fact that marles is just... a ding-dong and nicky is actually intelligent. she's basically failing everything, so most likely she'll be like, 'nickyyyy, do my homework. :c i'll give you a kiss, pls.' and just poke and prod him until he does. plus, they're both beaters on the quidditch pitch, so holla - best rivalry ever. anyways, i can see them having tension or whatever, but totes not wanting to cross over that friendship line because that would just be... an explosion. but yeah, they should totally be close/weird friends or whatever. she'll probably be protective of him too, 'cause she's uh... like that. c; and they're both really, really, really ridiculously good looking.

ahahah Ellie will do her best to be the counter balance for Marles. Though the second that Marles gets her drunk, that's going to be all out the window. It wouldn't take much for Elise to be gone. xD

And he would cave and do her homework. Oh the horribleness of it all. XD but well worth the kiss. God they're going to be terrors <3 and they're both beaters!? oh hell. ^_^ death match on the quidditch pitch. Not going to lie, he's going to try to take her out every game. xD

SIRIUS & MARLEY
I think Sirius would absolutely love her and her eccentric ways - he'd definitely be intrigued by her. I think they'd get along splendidly, and probably get up to their own adventure or two. I think Sirius would see her as "one of the guys" and probably let his guard down around her every now and again which isn't always a good thing considering his rage and temper tantrums.

EMILY & MARLEY
Oh man. She'd so hate Marley, just because she's Beater on the Gryffindor team. Emily's too highly competitive, and although she knows nothing of Marley, she would dislike her all the same.

yesss, i see a total 'bro,' relationship between these two, you know, considering they're both very alike in their obnoxious ways and being hot-tempered. then again, since they're so similar, i can see them having silly, little tiffs too. c; but definitely friends!

emily + marles

yay quidditch rivals. sounds good to me. c: marles isn't too competitive/doesn't take her role as beater that seriously, but if emily ever gave her slack, she'd probably be a target haha.
