Doe stuck her tongue out at him and laughed. She ran a hand through her hair and they proceeded in the game, the cards flipping more rapidly after each hand. Finally after fifteen rounds, the last 7 being the most intense, Iain won their little game. After the final round she pouted, then stuck out her tongue again and giggled. "Next time, Murray," she said with a grin.

Doe finally got up off the ground and spread across the couch, pulling the blanket from the armrest around her. She cuddled into the cushions and smiled at him. "I'm so-" she started, then yawned. "-sleepy," she finished with a laugh.

"Aha!" Iain grinned, jumped up on his chair and struck a winner's pose. "Toldya I'd win, told ye!" He plonked down again and chuckled. "Should've 'ad more coffee, Doe," he teased.

He happily snuggled into the sofa next to her, wrapping the blanket around them. "Def'nit'ly shoulds've had more coffee." He grinned and stretched his legs over the armrest, happy to just sit there in quiet affection. "I understand, tho' - losin' is exhaustin'," he chided, tucking her in and letting her sleep.
